The Peoria Women’s Club will host the concluding event of the 2026 Électricité Exhibition: Illuminating Perspectives with a special awards luncheon on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (doors open at 11:00 a.m.).

This celebratory luncheon will honor the outstanding artists whose work has defined the 2026 exhibition, with awards presented to the first-, second-, and third-place winners. Guests will enjoy a catered meal and hear directly from the award-winning artists as they share insights into their work and creative processes.

The exhibition awards were created by Peoria-based glass artist Leslie Schenkel, whose lampwork glass practice emphasizes both technical precision and artistic exploration. For the 2026 Électricité Exhibition, Schenkel custom-designed glass beads inspired by the original blue, green, and gold tilework found on the walls and fireplaces of the 1893 clubhouse, creating works that honor both the exhibiting artists and the Peoria Women’s Club as it celebrates its 140th year.

The luncheon also marks the final opportunity to view the 2026 Électricité exhibition, making it a meaningful closing event for artists, supporters, and members of the Tri-County arts community. Seating is limited, and early registration is encouraged.

Cost $22.00 per person

 Meat Option:

Turkey Marco Polo – Fresh broccoli spears wrapped with natural turkey breast and topped with a cheddar cheese sauce.

Cole Slaw

Key West Vegetable Blend – Whole green beans, orange and yellow cut carrots, and red pepper strips.

Rolls and Butter.

 Veggie Option:  

Five cheese tortellini bake – Tender tortellini with a five-cheese and basil filling, accented with colorful carrots, red bell peppers, and parsley in an Alfredo-style sauce.
