About the PWC Clubhouse

Built in 1893, the Peoria Women’s Club is a historic building standing proud on the corner of Madison and Fayette avenues in downtown Peoria, IL. The first floor has been lovingly restored with freshly painted walls, refinished original hardwood floors that are perfect for dancing, and brand new white tile men’s and women’s restrooms. The entire first floor accommodates up to 140 guests and is fully climate-controlled with air conditioning and heat. Whether you have a passion for history, or are looking for a convenient, central location for your event, The Peoria Women’s Club is the perfect venue for your event. The first floor of our clubhouse is available to rent for private events, including but not limited to:

2026 Rental Rates

Entire First Floor (Drawing Room, Dining Room and Kitchen): $750

  • Room capacity is 100-140

  • Will have access to newly renovated bathrooms

One Room (Dining Room and Kitchen): $450

  • Room capacity is 50-60

  • Will have access to newly renovated bathrooms

We also require a $200 security deposit upon booking. The Security Deposit will be returned after the venue is cleaned and there is no sign of damage.

Weddings by The Floratory

  • Yes, you can bring your own food and drink. If you would like a list of our recommended vendors, email rental@peoriawomensclub.com

  • Yes, you can serve alcohol during your event. We require a liability policy for any event that will be serving alcohol and you must use a licensed vendor. For more information and for our list of recommended vendors, email rental@peoriawomensclub.com

  • We can arrange a short walkthrough of the first floor to help you get an idea of what the space looks like. Please email rental@peoriawomensclub.com to book a walkthrough.

  • As far as you want! We accept bookings days, months, and years in advance. Be sure to email rental@peoriawomensclub.com for date availability.

  • We rely on volunteers to help manage event bookings and don’t currently offer event planning services. If you would like a list of event planners we recommend, please reach out to rental@peoriawomensclub.com

  • Your security deposit will be returned after the venue is cleaned and there is no sign of damage.

  • Please reach out to rental@peoriawomensclub.com for extra time for setup/teardown.
