For the past 20 years, Bradley University's Institute for Principled Leadership in Public Service has hosted a Women in Leadership luncheon honoring the legacy of Lydia Moss Bradley. This year's luncheon, hosted by the Institute alongside the Peoria Women's Club and Bradley President Jim Shadid, welcomes Kansas Governor Laura Kelly, a Bradley alumna, as the featured speaker.
Join us in uncovering the rich history of the Peoria Women’s Club (PWC), dating back to 1885. As an Archive Detective, you'll assist VP of Programming Lynette Steger with research for grants, stories, and PWC programming, diving into historical documents that shaped our club, city, state, and nation.
The Peoria Women's Club and Bradley University's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) have partnered to create the Peoria Chautauqua Literary & Scientific Circle (Peoria CLSC).
