Celebrate Lydia Moss Bradley!

Created in 2024 by the Peoria Women’s Club in partnership with Bradley University, this annual birthday celebration honors Lydia Moss Bradley’s lasting legacy—and we encourage all PWC members to help grow this tradition.

Lydia played a pivotal role in helping the Club secure its permanent headquarters and historic theater. Just three years later, she founded Bradley Polytechnic Institute. Her visionary support for education, culture, and civic leadership continues to shape our community today.
