Peoria Women’s Club members are invited to the May Luncheon featuring Robert Quinlan, Artistic Director of the Illinois Shakespeare Festival.

The Illinois Shakespeare Festival, established in 1978, is a professional repertory company dedicated to bringing high-quality theatrical productions and community programming to Central Illinois. Each summer, the Festival presents mainstage performances at the Ewing Cultural Center, along with free Theatre for Young Audiences productions and a variety of outreach initiatives that engage more than 10,000 patrons annually. Its educational offerings include youth summer camps and the Bard in a Box touring program, which introduces Shakespeare to schools and community groups while providing hands-on training for emerging theatre professionals.

Quinlan, a seasoned stage director and head of the MFA Directing Program at Illinois State University, has led numerous acclaimed productions across the country. His work spans classical and contemporary theatre, including award-winning musicals and international projects.

Luncheon Buffet catered by McAllister’s Deli.

Meat option:

McAlister’s Club Sandwich: Turkey, Ham, Bacon, Cheddar, Swiss, Spring mix, tomato, mayo and McAlister’s honey mustard on wheat.

Harvest Chicken Salad Sandwich: Chicken salad with cranberries and pecans, spring mix and tomato on croissant.

Vegetarian Sandwich option: spinach, cucumber, avocado, tri peppers, with onions on the side and special sauce.

Garden Salad: mixed greens with cheddar-jack, tomato, cucumber and croutons and assortment of dressings.

Fruit Tray and yogurt dip.

Assorted Chips and a dessert tray with cookies and brownies.
