For the past 20 years, Bradley University's Institute for Principled Leadership in Public Service has hosted a Women in Leadership luncheon honoring the legacy of Lydia Moss Bradley. This year's luncheon, hosted by the Institute alongside the Peoria Women's Club and Bradley President Jim Shadid, welcomes Kansas Governor Laura Kelly, a Bradley alumna, as the featured speaker. Governor Kelly is finishing her second and final four-year term and models the bipartisan, ethical, civil, and collaborative leadership approach the Institute promotes. A Psychology major at Bradley, she jokes that her degree has served her well in dealing with all the personalities and egos she's encountered in politics. Join us for a fun and enlightening lunch.
